Swissgrid in Switzerland faced the challenge of modernizing its entire SAP application landscape and making it more efficient. Swissgrid was looking for a partner who not only had the technical expertise, but was also able to provide comprehensive, long-term support for the project and cushion peak loads.

BTC AG and BTC Switzerland won the tender for this challenging project and jointly developed a comprehensive application management service – with the support of subsidiaries Five1 and BTC Turkey, additional areas were integrated.
BTC AG took over the complete management of Swissgrid's SAP application landscape. Thanks to the additional manpower and the ability to cushion peak loads via its subsidiaries, BTC AG was able to ensure seamless and transparent support. BTC Switzerland's long history and experience in the maintenance and support of Swissgrid systems played a decisive role in this. SAP experts from Five1 also introduced modern technologies such as Datasphere SAC and Databrics to optimize data analysis and processing.
