A quarter of a century full of ideas, team spirit, and exciting developments lies behind us. BTC AG was launched in 2000, created from the merger of three companies. Today, we have around 2,600 employees, including more than 100 trainees, and are an integral part of the EWE family.
A lot has happened since then: a regional IT service provider has become a full-service IT provider that is actively shaping digitalization, the energy transition, and socially relevant topics of the future. Whether in projects related to the energy industry, the digital transformation of municipalities, or research collaborations with universities and partners in the northwest, we are proud to be making a difference together.
But despite all the technology, one thing always remains at the center of our attention: people. Without the commitment, passion, and innovative spirit of our teams, the past 25 years would have been inconceivable. That's why we would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone who has shaped BTC and continues to help shape it every day!
And, of course, we are looking ahead: cloud solutions, AI applications, and sustainable IT are just some of the topics we are tackling with courage and curiosity. We are convinced that the next 25 years will be at least as exciting as the first.
